Corona Virus Precautions

We've received a few questions about what we're doing at Cole Dental to ensure the health of our Clients and Staff, so here's the rundown to keep you up-to-date.

Being an Australian Dental Association (ADA) accredited practice, Cole Dental upholds the highest infection control standards at all times—not just during outbreaks. Our staff are acutely aware of risk factors and are highly trained in removing them. We take your safety and that of our staff and families very seriously.

If you will be visiting the practice, here's what you can expect:

Your appointment

If you have an appointment booked, we have set in place a number of reminders to check-in and assess whether you're feeling unwell or suffering symptoms prior to your visit. Please take note and let us know if anything is out of balance.

Symptoms of COVID-19

  • fever
  • fatigue
  • dry cough
  • sore throat
  • shortness of breath
  • headache
  • chills

If you are experiencing any of the above, we need you to contact us without delay. This ensures both the safety of our staff and other clients.

We all love travel but at the moment it's a huge risk factor contributing to the viral spread. If you, or someone you have been in contact with, has recently returned from overseas please let us know.

On arrival

If you are feeling well apart from your dental problem, and arrive for your appointment as normal please observe the following:

  • Due to restrictions our doors will be locked;
  • For this reason you are asked to remain in your car and
    call reception on 3205 5811.
  • Please follow any instructions given by our staff.
  • A staff member will collect you and deliver you to your room for treatment.

The Practice

As our infection control standards are already at the highest level, these systems will not be changing. However, we have placed greater emphasis on individuals to ensure our workplace remains as contaminant-free as possible.

Staying safe

In general our team are following the Government's guidelines with regard to travel, isolation and awareness. We want all of our community to stay healthy so we ask that you observe the advice too.

Speak with us

Remember that we're health professionals and we're here to help you. We understand this is a stressful time for all and we ask that you be kind to our staff. If you're needing an appointment or to reschedule please contact us. We thank you for your help in making Cole Dental a happy and safe environment for all.
